Is Roamcast really free?
Roamcast is free! To unlock unlimited tours, just connect your Stripe account to start receiving tips — otherwise, you can host up to two tours per week.
What is Stripe?
Stripe is the tool we use to securely send tips from your guests straight to your bank account. It’s safe, easy to set up, and used by companies like Amazon and Google.
Do I receive 100% of the tips?
Yes — guests pay a small processing fee that ensures guides receive 100% of their tips. This fee covers standard payment processing costs (e.g., Stripe) and a 7.5% platform fee, which helps us keep Roamcast free, support unlimited tours, and continuously improve the experience.
How can guests pay tips?
Guests can easily tip using a variety of secure payment methods. You can pay with a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay — whichever is most convenient for you. It’s quick, simple, and all done through your mobile browser.
How many guests can join a tour?
We don’t set a strict limit — Roamcast is designed to handle groups large and small. Whether you have 2 guests or 50, you’re good to go!
Can guests join the tour anonymously?
Yes — no account or login is needed. Guests just scan and listen. We respect your privacy.
